HELPING DISADVANTAGED families and young people
Grants of up to $2,000 are made to local welfare organisations, interest groups and individuals to provide group activities to help disadvantaged families and young people who want to improve their own lives. As a fully independent charity, Coffs Caring Community Inc. can provide money for small projects designed to meet local needs but which may not qualify for funding from other sources.
YOUR MONEY WORKING DIRECTLY
The group relies on its own fundraising activities and donations from the wider community. All members volunteer their time and expertise, so overheads are very low. Most projects supported by CCCi are likely to have significant long-term benefits for the wider community, to give maximum return for every dollar donated. CCCi is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as a fully deductible charity, so you can reduce your tax and help others at the same time. Think about it!
OUR OBJECTIVE
- We aim to grow steadily as community awareness increases. There will always be those who must struggle to overcome personal disadvantage - the more support we receive, the more we can help.
